  1. Familiar with different source monitoring tools and general capabilities / purpose / function
  2. Expertise in CMDB and CI classes/devices (physical/logical) as related to the CMDB structure
    1. Strong conceptual understanding of CI relationships/hierarchies upstream and downsteam/dependencies in the relationships and how they impact Event Management
  3. Expertise in Event Management module configuration
    1. Settings/properties
    2. Familiar with connectors/listeners/MID servers and integration solutions to Event Management
    3. Batch jobs
    4. Event form and fields
    5. Alert form and fields along with functionality they drive downstream in alert management
    6. Event field mappings
    7. Event Rules
      1. Strong in Regex a must
    8. CI Binding, CI Binding logic, CI Binding Procedures
      1. Host CI
      2. Specific host CI
      3. Non-host CIs
      4. Application CIs
    9. Technical, application, and business services
    10. Alert Management Rules
      1. Java scripting a must
    11. Task templates (task/incident/problem)
    12. Remediation subflows
    13. Remediation workflows
      1. Flow Designer experience a must
      2. Java scripting a must
    14. Alert Grouping (automated)
    15. Alert Correlation Rules
      1. Java scripting a must
    16. Alert Aggregation & RCA Rules
  4. ServiceNow current versions (N-2)
  5. Experience in both Infrastructure and Application Event Management
  6. Can set up numerous cradle to grave test scenarios from event ingestion through incident creation
  7. Can navigate through events/alerts/incidents
  8. Experienced with Agent Workspace and  Alert Intelligence and all tabs (Alert Insights / Remediations/Executions)
  9. Experienced with Event Management Dashboard / Impact Tree and Impact Calculations
