SAP UI Developer

Must have SAP Techno-Functional UX expertise in at least one of the following modules on SAP S/4 HANA

1       Manufacturing / Quality / Maintenance (PP, QM, PM)

2      Financials (FI, CO)  .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primarily play the role of Functional / Business Analyst understanding the current SAP system design, configuration & customization and translate it into designs and services to build a custom UX platform on top of SAP.
  • Play the role of ‘product owner’ for the SAP module of expertise; own the design and delivery of consumer grade applications while respecting the bounds of backend SAP setup.
  • As a techno-functional analyst, understand business processes built on S/4 HANA platform within the module of expertise and convert them into powerful custom application solutions.
  • Implement a rapid prototyping / wireframing approach and deliver top-shelf designs to the UX and UI Development team for development.
  • Partner with SAP implementation teams for the module of expertise to understand the business process, system setup and developments
  • Partner with UX teams to understand the core framework and capabilities and contribute to building business applications in a sustainable and robust manner.
  • Reverse engineer SAP Systems in the module of expertise to abstract the concepts into a consumer grade and simple UI while meeting the protocols and constraints established in the backend system
  • Partner with SAP Technical Teams (ABAP / HANA / ODATA Development) to write top-shelf Functional Design Scripts and build high performing data models and BAPs which can be consumed by UX
  • Develop testing and validation mechanisms with the UI development team to create a constant feedback loop for faster iterations. Test the UX products in synchrony with SAP to ensure data displayed on the UX platform and data modified by the UX platform are interfaced with SAP as expected.
  • Document procedures for system updates and maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
